LEGO Star Wars sets don’t go on sale often, and when they do, it’s never on the official LEGO site. Prime Day is one of the rare exceptions, and the Coruscant Guard Gunship is making the most of it. Amazon has dropped it to $97, down from its $139 list price, which matches the all-time low last seen at Black Friday and is the lowest this 1,083-piece set has ever been. This deal is locked behind a Prime membership, and the 30-day trial has no card attached.

Five minifigures and a gunship worth displaying
The Coruscant Guard Gunship comes with five minifigures: Chancellor Palpatine, Commander Fox with two blaster pistols, two Coruscant Guards each with blasters, and Padmé Amidala with a blaster pistol. That’s a lineup that covers some of the most recognizable characters from Star Wars: The Clone Wars in a single set, and Commander Fox in particular is a minifigure that doesn’t show up in many LEGO releases, which makes this set more interesting to collectors than the piece count alone suggests.
The gunship itself is built around playability and display value in equal measure. Two pilot cockpits open for minifigure placement, two stud shooters and two adjustable cannons handle the aerial battle scenarios, and a rear hatch pulls down while the side slides open to access the cabin interior for troopers and equipment. A built-in handle makes swooshing it around during play practical without the set feeling fragile. Fully assembled it measures over 5.5 inches high, 14.5 inches long, and 16 inches wide, which is substantial enough to anchor a shelf display without taking over the entire room.
