A recently released national poll suggests that less than half of Americans can consistently afford healthcare. | Survey data from the West Health-Gallup Affordability Index classifies 49% of U.S. adults as “Cost Secure,” or “able to access quality, affordable care and have recently been able to pay for both needed care and medicine.” This is down two percentage points from 2024 and down 12 percentage points from 2022.
