Follow Daily Mail Sport's live coverage as England face Ghana on Tuesday night in Boston with Thomas Tuchel targeting a place in the knockout stages.World Cup food wars: England vs GhanaIt's time for more World Cup food wars.If you haven't seen this before, it's a new bit of content for you this World Cup, and it's all based around the cuisines from each competing country. Now, I love a bit of cottage pie; I really do... but I have to say I'd prefer to have jollof rice out of these two dishes.Ghana wins this food war for me.Calm before the stormI probably shouldn't joke about a storm, to be honest.Last night I was covering France's win over Iraq, and I'm telling you that the two-hour delay was not fun to report on. I was waffling to the high heavens. But on the weather front, it seems as though all will be OK in Boston. There is a bit of rain in the air, but nothing more. It's an open-air stadium, so a storm wouldn't be good, but hey, let's not gett worried for no reason. This is the ground that usually hosts the New England Patriots, and I'm not sure I'm the biggest fan of it.Not the best looking, is it?'England can change their approach'Teddy Sheringham, former England striker, speaking to ComeOn:When you look at all the rest of the games at this World Cup so far, everyone has been worried about the heat and how it is going to slow teams down and affect their performances, but that didn’t look like a concern for England. It was full steam ahead from every angle. You can only keep that up if you use the full squad, and I think he will.England might not need to approach the next couple of games with that same intensity because the games won’t be as hard, but it had to be there to overpower Croatia, and hopefully come the knockout stages, it should be relatively easy as well. It’s when you get to the quarter-finals and the semi-finals and the final, that’s when it counts. You have to save enough in the tank for those games. The perfect startYep, I think it's time to praise England that little bit more. The days of almost falling asleep watching England in major tournaments appear to be over.In years gone by, England have won group games, but have flattered to deceive, and that has led to mass negativity in the media and the fanbase. But against Croatia, they had the razzle and the dazzle. Tuchel took away the shackles, and the Three Lions mauled the Croatians. I haven't seen an England side play with that much freedom at a major tournament in my life. Granted, I was born in 2000, but still.England team came out like a team possessed in the second half; they were all over Croatia from the gun. Jude Bellingham got the all-important goal within two minutes of the restart, and then it was an onslaught from the Three Lions. They could have bagged four or five in the first 15 minutes after the interval.Harry Kane just said Croatia 'couldn't live with it', and he is bang on - they crumbled under the pressure. It was the perfect start, and they need to build on it tonight.LAST TIME OUT: England 4-2 CroatiaI think we should throw it back to last week, don't you?It was certainly fun if you're an England fan. I mean, I personally can't remember the last time I enjoyed covering England as much as I did in their opener against Croatia. It's certainly been a while.Four goals, three points, and one happy England fanbase. It was truly a game of two halves. England were sluggish and complacent in the first, but Harry Kane's brace had them level at the break. But in the second, they snapped into gear and stomped all over Croatia. We know we can't get carried away after that, but that was a brilliant start for the Three Lions.'Not the greatest start'Mike Keegan in Boston:Not the greatest start. Our FIFA media shuttle has hit a car so we’re currently in an Uber. No injuries, thankfully. The English take over BostonIt was the Scots last week, and the English this.England fans descended on the city in their numbers last night, and well, as you can tell by these messy pictures, had a pretty mental night. However, it was not so mental that it got out of hand. Everyone was in fine high spirits and well behaved; all just having a belting time in Boston. These pictures were taken at the Greatest Bar in the Boston West End, and of course, famous fan Andy Milne was front and centre. But my favourite pic has to be the one of the fella in the unicorn rubber ring. Might buy one for my next holiday, although I won't be using it in that capacity. At least I don't think I will...How things stand in Group LWell, this is nice viewing for England fans, isn't it?After a blistering start for Thomas Tuchel's side last week in Dallas, England are sitting pretty at the top of the tree in Group L.Ghana are level on points with the Three Lions after their dramatic late win against Panama last week, but are second on goal difference.Whose winning World Cup run will come to an end tonight?Shipping up to Boston'I'm shipping up to Boston, whoaaaaa'I'm sorry, I know Ireland aren't playing in this World Cup, but this song has been stuck in my head all day. Why? Well, because England are taking on Ghana in Boston, of course. And also because it's a banger...Anyway, what the song has succeeded in doing is getting me pumped up for what is another massive day of World Cup football. It's been six days since the Three Lions' statement win against Croatia, and now they are back in action again. The England fans have been lining the streets of Boston, just like teh Scots did last week, and have been having a whale of a time. 'It's coming home' has certainly been sung more than once. And if England want it to come home for the first time in 60 years, they will want to do the business tonight to ensure safe passage through to the knockout stages.Anyway, I think it's about time we get this show on the road, don't you?
