Savannah Guthrie made an emotional plea on Tuesday's Today show for increased help in the search to find her missing mother, Nancy.Guthrie kept a brave face as she urged viewers to come forward with more information on the case, crying at points after reporter Liz Kreutz recounted some new related details.On Monday, it was revealed a ransom note the family received back in February claimed the senior was dead. The Today team played a clip Guthrie and her siblings posting to Instagram the following day.'We beg you now to return our mother to us, so that we can celebrate with her. This is the only way we will have peace. This is very valuable to us, and we will pay,' the anchor said at the time.A clip of Guthrie telling costar Hoda Kotb that she believe the 'two ransom notes [the family] received and responded to' in February were 'real', despite several fakes.Kreutz emphasized how the 'new' details did not serve as a major 'update', leaving Guthrie, visibly emotional and surrounded by her cohosts, to react.'I love you guys and I love this place, and this is unusual and unprecedented to say the least to be sitting here, but you know, I don't have any comment on this story, and I'm not involved in our coverage,' she said, teary eyed. 'And I will, I promise I will,' Guthrie prefaced. 'This is the moment to tell you that we need your help. 'We're begging for your help. I'm not going to miss that opportunity.'And so please, if you're watching, no matter how small the reward is there, you can tell us. It can be anonymous. Guthrie's mother was last seen at her home in Tucson, Arizona, on January 31. Savannah stepped away from the show but returned in AprilPlease do the right thing for us, for our family, for our children. 'And we love our mom.
