HEPASilent dual filtration down to 0.1 microns
Blueair’s HEPASilent technology combines mechanical and electrostatic filtration in a single pass, which captures 99.97% of airborne particles down to 0.1 microns. That 0.1-micron threshold goes smaller than standard HEPA certification at 0.3 microns, covering ultrafine particles, wildfire smoke, pet dander, pollen, dust, mold spores, and virus-sized particles that standard filters let through. An activated carbon layer handles VOCs and odors including pet smells, cooking fumes, and off-gassing from furniture and flooring. The washable fabric pre-filter catches larger particles before they reach the main filter, extending the 6 to 9-month main filter lifespan. A pre-installed filter means the purifier is ready to run out of the box.
