…Dismisses Calls for President’s Resignation
By Samuel Oyadongha, Yenagoa
The Bayelsa State Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, Warman Ogoriba, has dismissed calls for the resignation of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, describing them as routine opposition politics and insisting that the President has performed “above 90 per cent” since assuming office.
Speaking during an interactive session with journalists in Yenagoa on Tuesday, Ogoriba addressed issues relating to the party’s preparedness for future elections, internal reconciliation efforts and the state of the economy under the APC-led administration.
Responding to reports that some APC members, including Joshua Maciver, had left the party over alleged marginalisation, Ogoriba maintained that the party’s reconciliation efforts had yielded positive results.
