A new initiative is keeping Kedarnath clean
The Himalayan Harmony Project, an initiative by Anandana – The Coca-Cola India Foundation in partnership with the Healing Himalayas Foundation, and supported by the District Administration of Rudraprayag and the Urban Development Department of Uttarakhand, has established a material recovery facility near the Kedarnath temple at an altitude of 11,755 feet.
The facility is among the highest waste management centres in India.
