The Civil Aviation Organization of Iran has announced flight restrictions and the cancellation of some flights from July 4 to July 9, coinciding with the funeral ceremonies for Ali Khamenei.

According to the SNN (Daneshju) News Agency, the organization’s announcement states that Tehran’s Mehrabad and Khomeini airports will operate with limited capacity and passenger acceptance on July 4 and 5.

Based on this announcement, flight restrictions in Tehran airspace will be intensified on July 6, and no passenger transfers will take place on this day.

It was also announced that on July 7 and 8, the acceptance and departure of passengers at Tehran airports will face restrictions. During this same timeframe, general aviation flight restrictions will also be implemented in Qom province.

According to the aforementioned report, Mashhad Airport will face operational restrictions on July 8 and 9, and no passenger flights will operate at this airport on July 9.
