Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) says it has arrested 118 people in a single day, including 26 members of the Awami League and its associate organisations, whose activities are banned.
Two separate media statement issued by the DMP on Tuesday confirmed that police rounded up the suspects during daylong sweeps across different Thanas on Monday.
