Dana Gas will drill additional wells in Egypt after receiving full settlement of overdue receivables of Dh79 million ($21.5 million).

Full and timely payments support a $100 million consolidation agreement integrating concessions, underpinning new upstream investment and Egypt’s drive to boost domestic gas output.

Four wells drilled in 2025 and three workovers added about 30 million scf per day of production and 36 billion cubic feet of reserves.

Recent drilling outperformed expectations, with the latest well identifying about 10 billion cubic feet of gas reserves versus an initial 3 billion cubic feet prognosis.
