Jackery is launching its latest generation of HomePower batteries, including the HomePower 1000 v2, HomePower 2000 Plus v2 and HomePower 3600 Pro Max. All are being offered with limited-time promotion pricing on the Jackery website from today, June 23rd, through to June 26th. In signature charcoal and high-visibility orange cases, Jackery’s scalable HomePower line can be used in a range of applications, from portable power to home backup to UPS for sensitive electronics and more. The three new models are tailored to fit different customer needs and provide a level of resilience in the face of potential grid instability and utility price uncertainty.

New LFP cells offer over 6000 cycles for more than 16 years of daily use. That is up from 10+ years on the previous generation. Of course, not everyone will use the battery on a daily basis, especially if it is being used primarily for recreation or emergencies.

Meanwhile, those new cells also contribute to a ~21 lb. or 34% weight reduction in the HomePower 2000 Plus v2 over its predecessor. At 41.5 lb., the new model weighs less than a 5-gallon water cooler bottle. That weight might still be a challenge for some people, but it is much easier to lift and move than many competing portable power sources. While known for their light weight, a Honda EU2000i portable generator with 1800W rated and 2200W peak (versus 2400W rated and 3800W peak for the 2000 Plus v2) still weighs more at 47.4 lb. dry. Not to mention the need to carry combustible liquid fuel, the noise or the exhaust, making the Honda generator unsuitable for indoor use.
