A commerce student from Ranchi achieved a perfect score of 500 out of 500 in the CBSE Class 12 examinations after the board's verification and re-evaluation process led to an increase in her marks.According to ANI, Avni Kejriwal's score was revised after deductions in English and Business Studies were reassessed. Before the re-evaluation, her overall percentage stood at slightly above 92 per cent.Speaking after the revised result, Kejriwal said her family was delighted by the outcome and had not anticipated a perfect score.“Everyone is very happy right now. We weren't expecting 500 marks, but everyone is very happy. I had 19 marks deducted in English, which I wasn't expecting. English is my favourite subject and was my strongest one. That's why I applied for re-evaluation. There were also 5 marks deducted in Business Studies. I had already gotten 100/100 in 3 subjects. It added that the remaining applications would be processed and released in subsequent phases, with the entire exercise expected to conclude soon.CBSE said students could check the status of their applications through the designated DigiLocker results portal. The board also stated that all applications had been processed through a transparent and carefully monitored system to ensure fairness and accuracy.The board further advised students to rely only on official CBSE communications and avoid rumours or unverified information circulating on social media. It added that CBSE offices would remain available to assist and guide students throughout the process.
