Michael de Mesa to Cherie Gil: “You are loved, remembered, and missed more than words can say”Seasoned TV-movie actor Michael de Mesa honored the memory of his late sister, the highly-respected actress Cherie Gil, on her birthday last Sunday, June 21.
Cherie, regarded as a "primera kontrabida" in the local entertainment scene passed away at the age of 59 in August 2022.
Prior to her death, she was diagnosed with a rare form of endometrial cancer.
