According to the reports, the target was Jewish businesses.At around 11:30 am Canada time, the SPVM posted an imminent threat alert that an armed and dangerous suspect is in the CDN sector. It is a heavily Jewish area with numerous kosher restaurants.SPVM encouraged anyone in the area to shelter indoors and lock the doors. Locals reported 20 shots being fired.At least one officer has been injured, and the operation is ongoing.Videos from the scene show two bodies on the floor.
