A man today admitted sexually abusing his wife after she was allegedly drugged and raped by a string of other men at their home.The man, in his 60s, pleaded guilty to two counts of rape, six counts of assault by penetration and three counts of sexual assault.He also admitted a charge of sharing intimate photographs or film during a brief hearing at Minshull Street Crown Court in Manchester.The attacks are said to have happened after a substance was administered to the woman at the couple’s address in Stockport, Greater Manchester.The man - who is also accused of more than 30 other offences - had previously pleaded not guilty to all the counts he faces.Another 12 men have denied a range of offences including rape, conspiracy to rape, assault by penetration, sexual assault and conspiracy to administer a substance with intent.None of the men, who are aged 28 to 73, or the alleged victim can be named for legal reasons.The offences are said to have taken place over a 20-year period. The man, in his 60s, pleaded guilty to two counts of rape, six counts of assault by penetration and three counts of sexual assault at Minshull Street Crown Court in Manchester (pictured)The men are set to face trial on September 1 and a further hearing will take place on August 21.A further man in his 50s previously pleaded guilty to four charges including conspiracy to rape, two counts of assault by penetration and conspiracy to administer a substance with intent.Six have pleaded not guilty to various charges including rape, sexual assault and conspiracy to administer a substance with intent.Of the other defendants apart from the husband, five are from Stockport, three from elsewhere in Greater Manchester, one is from Cheshire and two from other parts of England.One is from Dundee, Scotland.
