Studiocanal has unveiled a first look at Romeo Beckham in his acting debut “Forty Love,” directed by renowned fashion photographer Pierre-Ange Carlotti.

“Forty Love,” which marks the first directorial outing of Carlotti, is produced by Hugo Sélignac and Paco de Bary at Chi-Fou-Mi Productions, a Mediawan company, and co-produced by Studiocanal and Manna Studios.

Beckham stars opposite Paul Kircher (“The Animal Kingdom”), Guillaume Canet (“Sink or Swim”) and Benjamin Voisin (“The Stranger”), with an appearance from Catherine Deneuve. The movie is scored by 070 Shake and Johan Lenox.

The story revolves around Sacha Gallo, a tennis superstar who’s been training with his father to win a major trophy in Paris. But the arrival of a charismatic new rival — played by Beckham — challenges everything Sacha thought he understood about competition, ambition and himself. “For the first time, he faces an opponent of an entirely different nature — love,” the synopsis reads. “A force as exhilarating as it is destabilizing — and far more dangerous than anything he has encountered on the court.”

Beckham, the son of soccer legend David and designer Victoria, has been modeling for several years for the biggest luxury brands like Yves Saint Laurent and Balenciaga.
