It is SO gorgeous. This is great if you do or don’t have a car. If you live in town and just want to walk to the park with food and drink, this is for you. A real pull for Gen Z in towns when they want to meet with friends in the parks around the city.If you want to go to the beach and have to walk a distance from the car to your spot then this is for you too. Everything will stay cool in the car on the journey. Just lift it out the boot and wheel to your picnic patch and you are sorted for cold drinks and food all day.The same day I came across this beautiful cooler, my son sent me a screenshot of the same cooler. I knew then that we had to have it as he almost never texts about anything, even this weekend I noticed on his Instagram that he was in Athens and I had absolutely no idea he was going but the Ninja cooler he texts me about. Claire Cisotti testing out the Ninja cooler in her garden Claire Cisotti testing out the Ninja cooler in her garden It arrives in an enormous box and is instantly my new favourite thing in the whole world. My word it’s beautiful and I instantly started thinking of all the places I could take it. Superb for beach as it’s easy to clean as well, just click that handle up and off you go, it feels so sturdy it wouldn’t have any problems over pebbles or if you are one of the lucky ones…sand! TickWatching cricket without it would be a shame as the all-white exterior would fit right in at every cricket pitch across the land (or even Wimbledon). You could sit and watch the overs without ever moving from your seat - tick.If you're making a day out of watching the World Cup too, then you absolutely need this cooler. I think it could store up to 42 beers! And the beauty is that the ice never seems to melt so your drinks can stay cool well-past any sports day is over. How did anyone ever survive without one? If you are putting together a wedding list, this beauty has to go on it. It will last you a lifetime and will be a god send to any household who have or don’t have children. If you have seen the movies where Americans are in the car park with huge ice boxes waiting for their football team to start then we are getting close to the size of this, plus the wheels are all terrain so chunky and look like they would take a lot of weight over a long distance.PERFORMANCE Claire Cisotti testing out the Ninja cooler in her gardenWe set about testing this beast of an icebox and put three bags of ice in on Friday lunch time with drinks and food in the bottom. Tennis was played that evening and the cold drinks were on hand as it was wheeled down to the court. The temperature was high 20s into the early evening and the drinks stayed chilled, even with people constantly opening the lid to get a drink. Later it went up to the patio and the drawer with the Ninja ice pack had kept the food as cool as a fridge for a bbq that night. The ice had no hint of melting and the drinks were still very cold. We had friends over the following day for more fun and games and, yes the ice was still there, not changed, not topped up and still in one piece.By Sunday when the friends had gone home I checked in the Ninja Cooler and without any exaggeration there was some water where the ice had defrosted but there were still ice cubes in there too!If you went camping for the weekend your food and drinks would still be chilled by the Sunday, with no electricity involved at all. A total game changer.DESIGN Claire Cisotti testing out the Ninja cooler in her gardenIts beauty is the equivalent of a gorgeous designer handbag. Such a clever, sleek design and wipes down really efficiently. It’s size means you need a decent boot though as we put it in my Polo and it struggled a little bit so the bigger the car, the more ideal this is.It is like having a beautiful fridge on wheels. The black handle pulls up and clicks into place, nothing has been forgotten when designing this masterpiece and we only have the 28L Ninja Cooler, there is a bigger one on wheels with click up handle, Claire Cisotti testing out the Ninja cooler for size in her car boot. Cleaning is easy. Warm soapy water and let it air dry and before you put it away (if you ever want to) for the winter then a deep clean with baking soda paste and scrub lightly. To clean the draw, lift at an angle and remove like you would a dresser drawer. Rinse and wipe away any sand or dirt with warm soapy water and let air-dry and insert back in at an angle.ARE THERE CHEAPER VERSIONS OF THE NINJA FROST-VAULT WITH ALL TERRAIN WHEELS?There are cheaper like the Coleman 28QT which doesn’t look as cool but isn’t as expensive (£79.99) as the Ninja, with the amount of quality you get for your money with the wheels and handle all thrown in.The YETI brand who are famous for their big insulated coolers have something similar for what looks like double the price of the Ninja. The YETI Roadie costs £425 as opposed to the Ninja Frost Vault All-Terrain costs £249 on Amazon Prime. Still expensive but when you think you could take this with you for a weekend and keeps all the food and drink cool then it’s a lot of gear for your money.VERDICTNinja FrostVault 30QT/28L Wheeled Cooler with Dry ZoneWe loaded this beauty with as much ice, drinks and food we could and gave it a good work out. It passed with flying colours. It worked hard all weekend and rose to the challenge on EVERY occasion. We are still in shock after discovering the ice didn’t melt after 24 hours. It feels like a must-have as the temperatures get hotter as it can go anywhere and everywhere with you, or if you just need it for the garden to sit by the BBQ (Ninja Flex Flame) so you have the chilled food at hand and the drinks in ice on top then it works perfectly for that too.We are already arguing about who is going to use it next as some of the diary dates are clashing but what is guaranteed is that this Ninja Frost Vault would be hard to live without.Read more of Claire's reviews: Ninja SLUSHi XL review: Gen-Z are obsessed with Ninja's iced drinks machines - but here's why I think everyone needs one for summer Solo stove fire pit review: Here's why I won't be regretting my £700 middle-class garden purchase anytime soon I'm no green thumb, but this Gtech garden tool bundle transformed my garden from sad and unruly to this.
