Against the backdrop of President Volodymyr Zelensky's warning to the Belarusian authorities about the need to remove relay transmitters that help Russian drones strike Ukraine, the European Commission said that Ukraine has every right to self-defense.

This was stated at a briefing in Brussels by European Commission spokeswoman Anitta Hipper, Ukrinform's correspondent reports.

"We can give the EU position on Belarus. Belarus continues to be an enabler of Russia’s war of aggression against Ukraine," Hipper emphasized.

She also recalled that Belarus engages in provocations against the European Union, including violating airspace and using migration as a tool of pressure.
