After all, you're not too sure how things will fit if you haven't tried them on in a dressing room or looked at the item up close. There are also other factors to consider, such as the quality of the material and how the different items will hold up over time. Because of this, you'd think buying accessories, such as bags or jewellery, would be less of a gamble.‌One woman named Brittany Jade is one of the millions of people across the world who's done an online order from fashion brand Shein, which are known for selling everything from clothes, accessories and even homeware items to bargain prices.‌However, not everything arrived as expected, as she went on to take to TikTok to share the moment she opened up her new bag only to be convinced there's something unexpected hiding inside it."When you get a bag from Shein and think you've got a spider inside the bag..." the overlay text of the video read as dramatic music was playing.Content cannot be displayed without consent‌She started off by showing the bag in question, which was a brown tote style bag with the text 'the work bag' printed on it. As she opened it up, she showed the beige coloured lining inside, but all was as it seemed. As she continued to film the inside, she went on to focus the camera on a darker spot on the lining, making it look like something was hiding within the lining of the bag.To see whether or not it was a spider that she'd first thought, she went on to use a pair of scissors to cut open the lining. As the hole got bigger, it was clear that there was something dark hiding within it, but luckily for Brittany, it wasn't a spider like she'd first thought.Article continues below"Turns out it's just string," she revealed on the video as she continued to film the black string that had been made into a small bunch that she'd mistaken for a creepy crawly.Taking to the caption to the post, Brittany shared she was still planning on wearing the bag even though she'd cut opened the lining. She wrote: "Guys the inside of the bag can be removed and it can still be used as a bag don’t worry ur selves."A spokesperson from Shein said: "We are sorry to hear about this customer’s experience and have contacted her directly. The issue she encountered does not reflect the standards we expect from our quality control process, and we will be glad to offer her a replacement bag as a gesture of goodwill."Choose Daily Mirror as a 'Preferred Source' on Google News for quick access to the news you value.‌SheinUmm what?FashionTikTokShopping advice
