The former governor described his current relationship with Makinde as one driven by anger, comparing it to a mother whose child had been taken away.

Former Ekiti State governor, Ayo Fayose, has launched an attack on Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde, declaring that he has already ignited a political battle against the governor and would mobilise forces to work against him in future elections.

Speaking during an interview on Channels Television, Fayose accused Makinde of destroying the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) structure in the South-West and vowed retaliation over what he described as betrayal and disrespect.

“I’m a politician. A man who has the capacity can take the aircraft to land now. You understand? I have the capacity to tell my people,” Fayose said.

“I can't tell Channels Television to drive you because I don't have capacity. But I have the capacity to tell you to turn right, turn left in party politics.
