Elon Musk’s Tesla looks set to move into the containerized data center market, according to a new trademark application by the electric car company.
As reported by Electreck and others, Tesla has filed for a new trademark with the US Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) this month for a modular data center product.

The company is looking to trademark ‘Megapod’, which is described as a modular data center hardware system for artificial intelligence computing.
According to the filing, the pods will reportedly comprise “computer servers, computer hardware for artificial intelligence processing, computer networking hardware, electrical power distribution units, and cooling systems, sold as a unit.”
