On the morning of June 22, Russian forces launched a missile strike on the city of Bilopillia in the Sumy region, causing significant damage to educational institutions and resulting in casualties.

According to Ukrinform, Oleh Hryhorov, head of the Sumy Regional Military Administration, reported this on Telegram.

“This morning, the enemy launched a missile strike on Bilopillia. The Russians fired two missiles at educational institutions. There is significant damage. There were no children there, but staff members were on site,” Hryhorov said.

He noted that there are casualties. In particular, an employee of one of the institutions was hospitalized and is receiving the necessary medical care.

The blast wave also damaged nearby houses.
