Beijing's Ministry of Commerce placed 10 U.S. industrial suppliers on its export control list, blocking them from receiving any dual-use goods of Chinese origin, according to CNBC.

China hit back against Washington on Monday with fresh trade restrictions targeting dozens of American companies, in response to the Pentagon's decision to add more Chinese firms to its military-linked business list.

Beijing's Ministry of Commerce placed 10 U.S. industrial suppliers on its export control list, blocking them from receiving any dual-use goods of Chinese origin, according to CNBC.

Among those targeted are rare earth miners MP Materials Corp and USA Rare Earth, drone manufacturers Teal Drones and Jaia Robotics, California-based electronics firm Aveox Inc, Ball Aerospace & Technologies Corp, and military equipment provider Oshkosh Defence.

In a separate action, China's Finance Ministry barred 46 American companies, predominantly defence contractors, from taking part in Chinese government procurement. Foreign-funded firms registered locally that are linked to the blacklisted companies are exempt from the restrictions.
