The United States military conducted its latest Operation Southern Spear strike in the Caribbean Sea on Sunday, Southern Command announced. Two people were killed in the “lethal kinetic strike,” and six people reportedly survived the military operation in the Caribbean Sea. It was the third “lethal kinetic strike” in the last week and the fourth total in June. The U.S. military announced the strike in social media posts and a press release. “On June 21, at the direction of #SOUTHCOM commander Gen. Francis L. Donovan, Joint Task Force Southern Spear conducted a lethal kinetic strike on a vessel operated by Designated Terrorist Organizations,” read a post on X. Intelligence confirmed the vessel was transiting along known narco-trafficking routes in the Caribbean and was engaged in narco-trafficking operations. Two male narco-terrorists were killed during this action, and there were six male survivors.”
