HyderabadThe Telangana government has initiated steps to transform the historic Kindi Bazaar lake in Sangareddy into a major urban and tourist attraction, with Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy directing officials to prepare comprehensive development proposals worth ₹500 crore.The proposal follows a request made by TPCC working president T. Jagga Reddy, who has been advocating the lake’s rejuvenation and beautification. A team of officials from the Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority (HMDA) and the Revenue Department visited the lake for preliminary assessment of the site to explore possibilities for lake restoration, beautification, and the creation of tourism-related infrastructure.
