A KyivPride march took place in the capital, with 5,000 people taking part.
This was reported by the event organizers on Facebook, Ukrinform reports.
"The pride event lasted 2 hours, covered 1.2 kilometers... The march brought together LGBTQ+ people, servicemen and servicewomen, veterans, human rights advocates, diplomats, civil society organizations, and allies from across Ukraine," the organizers noted.

It is reported that the march started from the Red Building of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv. Participants then walked along Taras Shevchenko Boulevard and Yevhen Chykalenko Street to the Ploshcha Ukrainskykh Heroiv metro station.
