In a special crackdown on rowdy-sheeters and criminal activities, the Bengaluru North Division police conducted surprise raids on the residences of known offenders across 13 police station limits early on Sunday.The operation, led by Deputy Commissioner of Police (North Division) Nemagouda, targeted 97 rowdy-sheeters. Police teams visited their homes, collected information about their current occupations and activities, and verified whether they were regularly appearing before courts for the cases registered against them.Officials also reviewed the status of the pending cases, including warrants, proclamation proceedings and other legal actions against the accused. The rowdy-sheeters were instructed to attend court hearings without fail and cooperate with the legal process.The police issued a stern warning against involvement in any criminal or unlawful activities and said that strict action would be taken against those found in violation of the law.
