NewsUK NewsRNLIThe Royal National Lifeboat Institution has praised a 'quick-thinking' teenager who used his own boat to rescue two men after they fell from an inflatable toy boat off the Isle of Skye13:06, 21 Jun 2026Updated 19:24, 21 Jun 2026A "quick-thinking" teenager who used his own boat to rescue two men after they fell from an inflatable toy boat off the Isle of Skye has been praised by the Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI).RNLI volunteers from Kyle of Lochalsh were called to Broadford Bay at about 9pm on Saturday following reports of two men in difficulty in the water.However, before the lifeboat crew arrived, a teenage boy spotted the pair in distress and went out in his own boat to bring them back to shore.
