Pinoy fans are proud of Alex Eala for her 2026 Berlin Tennis Open run despite losing in the semi final match to Linda Noskova.Filipina tennis star Alexandra “Alex” Eala ends her stellar performance at the 2026 Berlin Tennis Open with a loss to Linda Noskova with a 6-2, 6-4 score in their rain-delayed semifinal match on Saturday in Germany.
Eala has had an impressive campaign, winning against world number 2 Elena Rybakina in round 16 before she ousted world number 8 Elina Svitolina in the quarterfinals.
Noskova, meanwhile, advanced to the seventh final of her career and her first on grass. She will face Jessica Pegula for the title, who shot through her spot in the championship match after a stunning win against world number 1 Aryna Sabalenka.
