Despite a strong fight from the Caribbean nation, Haiti became the first team to be eliminated from the 2026 FIFA World Cup after two consecutive losses to Scotland and Brazil in Group C action.Haiti sit without a point after they opened their group with a 1-0 loss to Scotland, before a 3-0 loss to Brazil on Friday.It means they are mathematically eliminated from advancing to the knockout stages and will complete their campaign with a final group stage match against Morocco on Wednesday.Brazil lead the group with four points, tied on points with second-place Morocco but the South Americans hold the advantage with a better goal difference.Scotland sit in third in the group with three points but cannot be surpassed by Haiti, having beaten them before.
