Germany will look to secure their place in the round of 32 by beating Ivory Coast in the second of their Group E matches this evening. Julian Nagelsmann’s side sit top of the table after an impressive 7-1 victory over World Cup 2026 debutants Curacao. Kai Havertz scored twice with goals also coming from Felix Nmecha, Nico Schlotterbeck, Jamal Musiala, Nathaniel Brown and Deniz Undav. They face sterner opposition tonight in Africa’s Ivory Coast who themselves can earn a place in the knockout rounds should they triumph over the Germans.
