Springbok centre Jesse Kriel had another solid outing in the midfield against some tough opponents in the Barbarians side.
The Springboks were far too strong for the Barbarians in Gqeberha on Saturday afternoon, running in 12 tries for an emphatic 80-31 victory in the first match of 2026.
While it was only a warm-up fixture ahead of a tough Nations Championship in July, there were several highs and lows for the world champions, including a couple of yellow cards alongside the try-fest in the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium.
We rate the individual performances.
15 Aphelele Fassi (5): Another yellow card for the fullback; his discipline must be better. Some good runs and kicks on the attack, though.
