Kwara State Governor, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, has presented the Speaker of the Kwara State House of Assembly and the All Progressives Congress governorship candidate, Yakubu Danladi-Salihu, to the Emir of Ilorin, Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari, as the party’s flagbearer for the 2027 governorship election.
The presentation took place during a courtesy visit to the Emir’s palace in Ilorin by the governor and Danladi-Salihu shortly after the monarch announced the appointment of Sheikh Muhammad Bashir Dasuki Imam Fulani as the 13th Chief Imam of Ilorin Emirate.
Details of the visit were contained in a post on Saturday on the official Facebook page of the Kwara State Government.
During the visit, AbdulRazaq congratulated the Emir on the appointment of Sheikh Dasuki as Chief Imam and prayed for divine guidance for the new Islamic cleric.
