In a rare honour, as many as five scientific research articles submitted by Dr. Abdul D. Khan from Apollo Hospitals have been accepted for presentation in the prestigious SICOT (International Society of Orthopaedic Surgery & Traumatology) Orthopaedic World Congress to be held in Kyoto, Japan in September.The scientific articles include functional results of some of the rare and innovative surgeries performed by Dr. Khan. They include patients who underwent insertion of Fastfix device for meniscal tears, insertion of Ultrabutton and Bio-Screw implants for ACL reconstruction and DePuy Sigma implants for total knee replacements.All the patients had made good functional recovery and expressed their gratitude to the Apollo Hospital management.
