The Oleksandr Dovzhenko National Film Studio has saved 120 iconic films.
According to Ukrinform, the film studio announced this on Facebook.
“Yesterday, we saved what is most precious—the studio’s films. 120 iconic films were moved to a bomb shelter,” the post reads.
The rescue operation was carried out by students from Kyiv National University of Culture and Arts—specifically, the film and television directing program in Andrii Donchyk’s workshop.
As reported by Ukrinform, Ukraine’s largest and oldest costume collection was destroyed at the Dovzhenko Film Studio in Kyiv as a result of a Russian attack on June 15.
