U.S. Special Envoy Steve Witkoff traveled to Switzerland to resume technical talks with Iran.

According to Ukrinform, CNN reported this, citing a U.S. official.

The U.S. president’s son-in-law, Jared Kushner, is also expected to arrive in Switzerland to join the upcoming talks.

Meanwhile, the timing of the new round of consultations remains uncertain. The next phase of negotiations was scheduled to begin on Friday, but was canceled following a new outbreak of violence between Israel and the Hezbollah group in Lebanon.

Witkoff and Kushner previously led negotiations with Iran, which resulted in a memorandum of understanding.
