A United Kingdom-based Nigerian woman, Mrs Olayinka Akinrinola, has faulted the British jury for wrongly accusing her son of robbery.
Akinrinola said this in an interview with Diaspora Tales on Friday, following a court session where a jury found her son guilty of crimes.
The 18-year-old was found guilty of six counts of blackmail at North Kilworth and three counts of the same charge at Bath Lane.
Also, he was found guilty of four counts of robbery in North Kilworth and two counts of ABH on two victims in Bath Lane.
The British media reported that Oluwatobiloba was arrested and charged with nine counts of robbery following a series of violent incidents that began on November 21, 2025.
