SRM Global Hospital organised two major conferences on prevention and management of sports injuries - one exclusively for physiotherapists, and another for coaches at the SRM Institute of Science and Technology on Friday.The conclave for physiotherapists focussed on contemporary concepts related to sports medicine such as prevention of sports injuries, rehabilitation, biomechanical assessment, and evidence-based treatment strategies. A series of lectures followed by case-study discussions, and hands-on workshops, helped enhance the practical skills of more than 150 physiotherapists.
