President Volodymyr Zelensky called the alleged drone strike on a bus carrying Belarusian children one of the Russian provocations that the Russian side is resorting to in order to drag the people of Belarus into the Russian-Ukrainian war.
The head of state made these remarks during a media briefing alongside Honduran President Nasri Asfour, according to Ukrinform, citing his Telegram channel.
“As for the drone strike on a bus carrying Belarusian children, everyone has already acknowledged—including international experts and, I believe, even the ‘Russians’—that it was not our strike. The ‘Russians’ will carry out many different provocations in order to drag the people of Belarus into this war. This is one of them,” he noted.

As reported by Ukrinform, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine refuted statements by Russian officials regarding an alleged strike by a Ukrainian Armed Forces drone on a bus carrying a children’s soccer team in the Bryansk region. The Security Service of Ukraine has every reason to believe that the strike on a bus carrying Belarusian citizens in the Bryansk region of the Russian Federation was a special operation carried out by Russian special services.
