Bangladesh uber allesHe has never been to Germany, never seen its football team play, but Bangladeshi farmer Amjad Hossain may just be the Mannschaft's most fanatical fan.The 72-year-old has covered his land in a 7.5 kilometre-long (4.7 miles) German flag, the gigantic black, red and yellow banner meandering through his verdant fields in the southern district of Magura.Hossain said his love of all things German began after a German drug saved his life. "I was seriously ill in 2004 and 2005, and a German medicine cured me," he told AFP.

"Since then I have loved Germany and its football." For the 2006 World Cup -- which Germany hosted -- he started out small, commissioning a 1.5-kilometre-long flag. And for every tournament since, he has increased its length, sometimes selling parts of land to pay for the cloth."Some people call me crazy," Hossain said, but "my wife and other family members have never been angry."His dream is to watch the four-time world champions play in person one day, he said. "I hope I'll have the chance." That's all volks
