Police have sealed off part of Lodge Lane in Toxteth this afternoon (Friday, June 19). The road is currently shut in both directions between Lime Grove and Bentley Road following a "police incident", with several officers present at the scene.The exact nature of the incident has yet to be confirmed, though a number of witnesses have said that shots have been fired on Lodge Lane this afternoon, reports the LiverpoolEcho.A number of officers, including reports of armed police, are currently in attendance with a large cordon in place.
