President Volodymyr Zelensky said that the outcome of his meeting with US President Donald Trump on the sidelines of the G7 summit will primarily be the strengthening of air defense.

As Ukrinform reported, the head of state said this during a conversation with journalists in Kyiv together with Honduran President Nasry Asfura.

Answering a question from an Ukrinform correspondent about the concrete results of his talks with President Trump, Zelensky said that strengthening Ukraine’s air defense was a key outcome, adding that he had received a positive signal on this from the entire G7, including President Trump. He stated that, for the first time, the American side was viewing positively the idea of issuing licenses for the production of Ukrainian missiles.

The President noted that he had been consistently raising this issue since the administration of President Biden, but that no results had been achieved at that time.
