How much will Grand Theft Auto 6 cost? After years of waiting, a pair of high-profile delays, and a particularly cruel false start to pre-orders courtesy of Best Buy, it’s finally happening – Grand Theft Auto is officially going up for pre-order next week. And now everyone is wondering what the price of GTA 6 is going to be.

I’m not sure if it’s the first pre-order announcement ever that did not include a price, but that certainly doesn’t happen all that often. Now that we know when GTA VI is going up for pre-order, and with prices going up this generation – Mario Kart World debuted at a whopping $80, the question remains, how much is this thing going to cost?
In this case, unlike just about every other game that has ever released, I’m not sure it matters all that much. There are droves of gamers out there just waiting for Rockstar to take their money that don’t really even care how much Grand Theft Auto is going to cost. That’s not universally true, and even if it was, we all still want to know.
