ABZ Innovation is looking to make drone-powered building cleaning a lot more practical for professional operators. The Hungary-based drone manufacturer, which operates in more than 40 countries, has unveiled what it calls the world’s first dedicated ground station designed specifically for industrial drone cleaning.

Named the ABZ Clean Station, the new system is built to work alongside the company’s C10 cleaning drone and aims to turn drone cleaning from a promising technology into a fully scalable commercial solution.

While drones have already begun replacing traditional methods for cleaning high-rise buildings, solar installations, and industrial facilities, many operations still rely on customized or improvised support equipment on the ground. ABZ says the Clean Station addresses that challenge by providing a purpose-built infrastructure platform that delivers water, cleaning agents, filtration, and system controls in one integrated package.

The launch comes as facility managers continue searching for safer alternatives to scaffolding, cranes, and rope-access technicians. Traditional facade cleaning can be labor-intensive, expensive, and inherently risky because workers often operate at significant heights. Drone technology has emerged as a potential solution, allowing operators to clean large surfaces without sending people into dangerous positions.
