Moutet was penalised 40,000 US dollars (£30,248) by the ATP for "unsportsmanlike conduct" after uttering the 'F-word' seven times following his first-round victory. The fine represents over 90 per cent of the £33,000 prize money he earned for reaching the second round of the prestigious HSBC Championships. Moutet has confirmed his intention to appeal against the fine, in accordance with established ATP rules and procedures.
