MANILA, Philippines — A coalition of religious and civil society groups will stage the “White Ribbon March” at the EDSA People Power Monument on June 28, renewing demands for government accountability and political reform.

At a press conference on Friday, Bishop Efraim Tendero emphasized that the demonstration will champion three main causes: an end to government corruption, the passage of a real anti-dynasty law, and vital reforms to the election system.

It will be led by the Inter-Religious Leaders Council for National Transformation, composed of the four largest religious groups in the country, with civil society organizations such as Taumbayan Ayaw sa Magnanakaw at Abusado Network Alliance (Tama Na) also joining.
