Senate President Godswill Akpabio on Thursday described President Bola Tinubu as a “deliverer of projects” during the commissioning of a newly constructed road in the Federal Capital Territory.
According to Daily Post on Friday, Akpabio also praised FCT Minister Nyesom Wike, referring to him as a “miracle worker” while speaking at the event marking part of Tinubu’s third-year-in-office project commissioning programme.
The Senate President represented Tinubu at the commissioning of the Airport Road (Bill Clinton Drive) leading to the Tungan Madaki community. He expressed confidence that the newly completed road would stand the test of time, estimating it could last for decades without developing potholes.
He said: “The Minister of the FCT, the miracle worker and Mr project, as you were speaking I felt a little bit emotional so because of that I would stick to Mr President’s address.
“I also come from a community so I know what it means to stay for 37 or 40 years without a road and coincidentally the company that constructed this road worked with me for eight years of my administration as a governor.
