Hello and welcome to our coverage of Friday night’s round 16 NRL clash between the Knights and Dragons in Newcastle. It’s Dom Brock with you on blog duties tonight.Both these teams are fresh from a bye, following round 13 wins and round 14 losses. St George Illawarra earned their first win of the season against Brisbane a couple of weeks ago before going down to Cronulla, while Newcastle beat Parramatta to cap a four-game winning streak before a two-point loss to Melbourne.Knights stars Kalyn Ponga and Dylan Lucas are out of this one after playing in Wednesday night’s Origin II. Bradman Best is back from a hamstring injury for Newcastle while the Dragons have Emre Guler and Luciano Leilua joining the bench with Jaydn Su’A (pectoral injury) and Nathan Lawson dropping out.The Dragons have won 18 of their last 24 matches in Newcastle, but the Knights have the wood on them recently, winning three of the past four games between these sides – including a 44-10 thumping in round 10.Kick-off is at 8pm.
