Coventry City will return to the Premier League after 25 years away with the opening match of the new season away at champions Arsenal.Coventry secured their return to the English top-flight by winning the Championship title under former England international Frank Lampard last season.They have visited all three divisions of the English Football League during their time away from the Premier League and, after a couple of play-off campaigns, won the second tier last season with 95 points.Last season, only one of the newly-promoted sides were relegated again, as Burnley finished 19th.They will face West Midlands rivals Aston Villa at home on December 12, before the reverse fixture on April 24.Coventry will end their season at home to Nottingham Forest.Coventry’s Premier League fixtures 2026-27
