An Indian-origin man living in Abu Dhabi has won a grand cash prize of 2 million AED (around Rs 5.15 crore) in Sharjah Islamic Bank’s (SIB) ‘Millionaire campaign’. The 34-year-old winner, Shajeer Venga, became eligible for the reward after opening a savings account with the bank less than two months ago through its digital app.Venga’s unexpected win came as part of SIB’s savings-linked rewards programme, which has been offering cash prizes and luxury rewards to customers.
